Continuing a long tradition of fabulous food, music, dance and entertainment for young and old, this year’s Fiesta promises to be extraordinary. 8th Annual Sedona Winefest

The Eighth Annual Sedona Winefest will be held at the Sedona “Historic” Posse Grounds Park in West Sedona. Surrounded by green grass and the views of Sedona’s red rocks, the event will be held in an all-weather “circus-sized” tent for all attendees to enjoy a community-like setting. The Winefest is designed to introduce wine lovers with a variety of fine wines from Arizona wineries, many from the Northern Arizona including the Verde Valley. The event also includes cuisine from local food vendors, music by local talented musicians, a variety of vendors, an inspiring art exhibition by Plein-Air artists, and free wine education seminars. General admission tickets are available online at at the early online price of $25 and at the door for $30.00. General admission includes an etched commemorative glass and eight tasting tickets. This event will be taking place at Sedona Red Rock High School located at 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road in West Sedona. Ales on Rails at the Verde Canyon Railroad

There are parties and shindigs and then there is Oktoberfest! Of course Verde Canyon Railroad never misses out on a good time so they roll out their popular Ales on Rails every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October. The party starts at 11:00 am on the depot patio with a mouthwatering luncheon ($11) of German sausages, sauerkraut, potato salad, pretzels and strudel, all served to the rhythmic tunes of a polka serenade. A $10 logo beer glass comes with five beer tastings. The 1:00 p.m. train whistle signals the continuation of the party as it moves onto the rails with specialty beers served on board, including Verde Canyon Railroad’s own private-labeled brews, crafted in Sedona by the renowned Oak Creek Brewery. The Rotary Club of the Sedona Red Rocks is hosting the Red Rocks Oktoberfest on at the Posse Grounds Park. This traditional German celebration of the harvest season features 10+ local brewers showcasing their finest beers. This event moved locations to the park to allow for a longer event, more people, better views, parking, food, etc! A portion of all proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Sedona Red Rocks.
